Emotional Health: The street dog and home dog.

This is an old story, if you went near the street dog it will quickly run away in fear because it has been mistreated and abused in the street by people.
If you went near the home dog it will move his tail, lick you and welcome you, because it was lovingly taken cared by it’s owner.
The word of God said in Heb 4:16, “Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence..”
We might have been mistreated and abused in words or deeds, we might have been in fear of scolding harshly with no kindness, or being scolded every time and in everything, being criticized in everything, we might have heard all negative things spoken to us, they might be perfectionist or authoritarian, we might got no close relationship with our parents at home, and have no confident approaching our parents closely.
The ways we were treated, and the ways we were brought up can greatly affect the way we view God. Therefore it is important to know who God is and experience Him.
Those things might have hinder our confidence to approach God, but God is good and want to have relationship with us. Therefore, we can always approach Him with confident.
