365 Fear Not

The Bible do not teach us to live in fear, for God doesn’t give us the spirit of fear.

There can be many types of fear we have, it might be because of what our cultures taught us, it might be because of how some of our authority figures has taught us, it might be because of how some people in our communities has treated us, it might be because of some abuses we have faced in life, it might be because of how some of our teachers has treated us, it might be because of how we were treated in our family, it might be because of how our co-workers or boss at works has treated us, has shamed us, or has mistreat us.

We might be in –

Fear of failure

Fear of people

Fear of public

Fear of teachers

Fear of Fathers or mothers

Fear of pastors

Fear of rejections

Fear of men

Fear of abandonment

Fear of making mistakes

Fear of elders

Fear of punishment

Fear of authority figures

In this world we will face several of them, being mistreated, abused, betrayed, or anything else, but we are not to be afraid of those things, and those fear are not given to us by God. It is one of the Devil’s job to make us fearful and afraid, but not of God.

It is briefed that there are 365 times in the Bible that God said, “Do not fear/ Do not be afraid”. Even the fear of God is not to be afraid of God, God doesn't want us to be afraid of Him, because there is no fear in love.

2 Tim 1:7 says, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, of love, and of a sound mind”. Therefore, no matter what we fear, God has not given us the spirit of fear, we are to be bold and courageous, God loves us so much and doesn’t want us to live in any kinds of fear.

Joshua 1:7 said, “Be strong and very courageous”.

Joshua 1:9 – “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”

If you’re staying in a family, community, or a family type structure, the most important thing in a family is the environment of love.

The Father God doesn’t want you to live in fear of anything, 1 John 4:18 says, “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear”. The Father wants you to live in peace, He wants you to have a peaceful heart and mind. He gave us the Bible, which is a love letter from God, and in this love letter He put for us, there are around 365 times that He said, “Do not fear” or “Do not be afraid”.

Because there is no fear in love, perfect love drives out fear, God loves us enough to tell us 365 times in the Bible “Do not fear”.
